About the Role

Join a team focusing on hardware security for Windows laptop devices, contributing to next-generation Windows device security.

Job Title

Software Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Fine-tune and improve software implementation projects
Analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions
Implement system software and customize to client requirements
Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
Code new programs to client’s specifications and conduct unit testing
Provide quality assurance reviews and resolve bugs found during testing

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or related field
5-7 years of experience
Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Experience in large systems software design and development
Experience in troubleshooting, unit testing, and problem resolution

Desired Qualifications

Prior experience in hardware security
Experience with Windows low-level code, firmware, and encryption/decryption software development

Position Information

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between $130K/$140k annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
