About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Software Engineer to support Billing Operations (Old Stack) by applying best practices across billing processes, monitoring, issue management, and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth billing execution through strong analytical skills, process understanding, and technical support capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support end-to-end billing operations following industry and organizational best practices.

Ensure smooth execution of billing cycles with proper validations and checks.

Monitor system performance, billing jobs, and operational workflows.

Handle incidents, service requests, and provide timely resolutions.

Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive actions.

Participate in operational process improvements, automation, and optimization.

Assist in system configuration, data validations, and reconciliation activities.

Prepare and maintain documentation such as SOPs, runbooks, and operational guidelines.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and workflow alignment.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience in Billing Operations, preferably on Old Stack platforms.

Good understanding of telecom billing processes, workflows, and lifecycle.

Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve operational issues.

Familiarity with billing best practices, validations, and performance checks.

Ability to work in fast-paced production support environments.

Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in telecom BSS/OSS systems.

Basic knowledge of SQL, scripting, or automation tools.

Exposure to reconciliation and data verification processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹352,126.95 - ₹1,536,587.94 per year
