Software Engineer Full Stack

Urgent opening for a fast growing hospitality marketplace

Role & Responsibilities

• Own Core Marketplace Flows: Architect, build, and deploy full-stack features across our highest-traffic transactional user journeys: Search - Details - Booking -Post-booking.

• Drive End-to-End Execution: Lead the complete lifecycle of scoped features, seamlessly managing UI creation, robust API contracts, data model schema design, instrumentation/analytics, and rapid iteration.

• Advance Architectural Patterns: Contribute high-quality, pragmatic patterns to a modern codebase, optimizing for web performance, data fetching, intelligent caching, and error handling.

• Elevate Quality & Observability: Partner with backend and senior architects to raise the engineering bar through testing discipline, comprehensive code reviews, and proactive monitoring of system dashboards, alerts, and tracing.

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Shadcn

• Backend: Ruby on Rails, Node.js

• Data Layers: Postgres, MongoDB

• Infrastructure & Monitoring: AWS, Datadog, Playwright, RSpec

Candidate Profile

• 4+ years of professional engineering experience building and scaling production web or mobile applications.

• Proven ability to navigate a Ruby on Rails backend and build elegant frontend experiences in a React/TypeScript ecosystem autonomously.

• Strong fundamentals in building resilient APIs and optimizing database schema design and basic query performance.

• A strong focus on user experience (UX) details, front-end performance metrics, and a passion for measuring real-world product outcomes.

• Excellent code quality habits, strong testing discipline, attention to operational readiness, and a collaborative nature that contributes positively to a high-performing team culture.
