Overview:

Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:

Core responsibilities to include architecting, designing, and implementing (along with counterparts and principal Architects) a cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in Transportation management, planning and last-mile logistics.
The team currently comprises of 90+ global associates across US, India (COE) and UK and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team

Our current technical environment:

Software: Java, SpringBoot, Azure, React JS, Node JS, Oracle PL/SQL, GIT, Rest API. Java script.
Application Architecture: Scalable three tier web application.
Cloud Architecture: Private cloud, MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
Frameworks/Others: Tomcat Apache, RDBMS, Jenkins, Nginx, Oracle Type ORM, Express.

What you’ll do:

Understands and analyze business requirements and assists in design for accuracy and completeness.
Develops and maintains relevant product.
Demonstrates good understanding of the product and owns one or more modules

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum 2 years of experience in Software development
Strong programming experience and background in React JS
Good to have understanding on Node JS, Azure/AWS/GCP and SQL Programming
Good to have understanding of API management platforms & providing/consuming REST ful APIs
Exposure to varies tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Visual Studio, Eclipse.
