Position Description: Project Role the Operations Analyst - responsible for end-to-end processing of Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC). The role requires strong operational expertise, adherence to trade rules, and the ability to deliver accurate processing within agreed SLAs.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Handle end-to-end operations for Bank Guarantees and SBLCs
Process issuance, amendments, extensions, cancellations, and closures
Perform document checking and validation as per applicable trade rules
Support claim processing and related investigations
Prepare, review, and release SWIFT messages (MT760, MT767, MT799, MT999)
Ensure compliance with URDG 758, ISP98, UCP 600 and internal policies
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, correspondent banks, and clients
Monitor queues and ensure SLA and TAT adherence
Identify operational risks and escalate issues proactively
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and control testing
Maintain accurate records, MIS, and operational documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Banking, or related field with • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Trade Finance Operations
Preferred Certification:

CDCS / CSDG certification (preferred)
LIBF or equivalent trade finance certification

Must to Have :Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Trade Finance Operations
Hands-on expertise in Guarantees and SBLC processing
Good understanding of international trade rules and compliance requirements
Proficiency in SWIFT messaging standards
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Trade finance processing systems

SWIFT applications
Core banking systems
MS Excel and MS Office tool

Good-to-Have:

T360 application
Certifications (CDCS/CSDG)
Advanced Excel / additional systems
