As part of our continued global expansion, we are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, shape the architecture of our digital commerce platforms, and drive technological excellence across all regions.

Role Overview

In this role, you will lead a team of talented software engineers developing scalable, cloud-based, and high-performance applications that power our e-commerce ecosystem.

You will guide architectural decisions, ensure best engineering practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product to deliver high-quality solutions.

You’ll play a key role in our digital transformation — building modern microservice architectures, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of our systems on AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and integration of microservice-based applications
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to software engineers
• Drive software quality, performance, and security standards across teams
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases
• Participate in and influence architectural decisions to ensure technical excellence
• Utilize AWS RDS, S3, ECS and related services for cloud scalability and performance
• Manage messaging and event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ and Kafka
• Oversee system monitoring and observability with New Relic
• Lead logging infrastructure and analytics on Elasticsearch
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
• Ensure CI/CD, Agile, and DevSecOps best practices are consistently applied
• Promote API security and compliance with OWASP standards
• Drive strategic initiatives to modernize and evolve Farmasi’s technology stack

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development
• 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role within software engineering
• Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proven experience in microservice architecture, DDD, CQRS, and Event-Driven Design
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, especially RDS
• Experience with RabbitMQ and/or Kafka for distributed messaging
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch for logging and New Relic for performance monitoring
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and modern DevOps practices
• Awareness of secure coding standards and API security principles
• Excellent English communication skills — written and verbal
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in system architecture roles and a passion for continuous learning

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Couchbase or similar NoSQL databases

Prior experience designing and optimizing large-scale e-commerce systems
