Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Purpose:

• Review and interpret client requirements and contribute to the design phase, including adherence to UI/UX standards.
• Develop comprehensive test cases based on provided documentation such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects, and verify implemented fixes.
• Execute test cases within defined timelines.
• Perform regression and smoke testing as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate documentation of test results and outputs.
• Maintain a strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and test types throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document test data, analyse results, and provide recommendations to improve the system’s alignment with user needs and expectations.
• Apply and advocate QA best practices across different teams.
• Utilise automation tools and scripting (e.g., Katalon, GIT).

Experience and Education:

• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in testing HTML, CSS, WordPress, Shopify, Photoshop, XD, and InVision.
• Skilled in testing both web and mobile applications for pixel-perfect UI/UX.
• Extensive experience in responsive website testing, ensuring accuracy across UI/UX, operating systems, browsers, and device types.
• Solid knowledge of Jira and major browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
• Ability to write and execute test cases effectively and report issues clearly.
• Capable of performing a wide range of testing types.
• Experience with automated testing is an advantage.
• Proficient in API testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs120,000.00 per month
