Software Quality Assurance Engineer_Saudi

Job Overview

We are looking for a experienced SAUDI QA Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment. The role is Based in Qassim, KSA

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across projects
• Design, develop, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Develop and implement testing processes for new and existing products
• Participate in defining end-to-end testing strategies, scope, and schedules with IT teams and vendors
• Execute various testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, security, and UAT
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
• Perform API testing (manual & automation), including use of mock servers and API documentation tools
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
• Collaborate with automation teams to expand automated test coverage
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing (web & mobile)
• Test mobile applications using simulators and debugging tools (e.g., Postman Proxy, Charles, Fiddler, Chucker)
• Debug web applications using browser developer tools
• Track testing metrics and contribute to performance and quality reports
• Escalate risks/issues proactively to avoid delays or conflicts
• Provide regular updates and reporting to stakeholders on testing progress and risks

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Proven experience in manual and/or automated testing
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes
• Experience in API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
• Solid understanding of SQL (joins, queries, data validation)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Knowledge of mobile and web application testing
• Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing

Certifications (Preferred)

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
