Software Quality Assurance (SQA)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be responsible not only for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products but also for supporting internal users who rely on developed modules in their daily operations.

You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and the support team to identify issues, optimize performance, and ensure that every release meets the highest standards of usability, functionality, and user satisfaction.

This position is ideal for someone who combines a strong QA mindset, technical development understanding, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between development and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Conduct manual, functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and technical details.
• Provide support to internal teams by resolving issues, reproducing bugs, and ensuring smooth functioning of deployed modules.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Participate in UX/UI evaluations, ensuring that applications meet design standards and provide a seamless user experience.
• Offer valuable input during design and development discussions to enhance usability and visual consistency.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and coordinate with developers for long-term fixes.
• Prepare and present comprehensive test reports, quality metrics, and improvement recommendations.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in release management, including validation, deployment testing, and post-release monitoring.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and maintain clear, professional communication across teams.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Development experience (especially in PHP with CodeIgniter framework) will be a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and ability to evaluate visual design and user flow.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, or equivalents.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities — able to coordinate between technical and non-technical teams effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API testing and database validation (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, or test automation frameworks.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in support management systems or customer issue tracking tools.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
