SQA Engineer

We are looking for an SQA Engineer who can take full ownership of quality across our product ecosystem. If you know how to break things intelligently, automate where it matters, and build reliable release pipelines, you will fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web and backend services.
• Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (Python or JavaScript preferred).
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to identify gaps and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Identify, log, and track defects with clarity and ownership.
• Create clear, detailed bug reports and track them through closure.
• Validate performance, reliability, and edge-case scenarios before each deployment
• Contribute to CI/CD quality gates and release readiness processes
• Run performance and load testing to ensure scalability under real traffic conditions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and basic automation
• Good understanding of REST APIs, Postman, and SQL queries
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-focused environment

Nice to Have

• Exposure to load testing and performance tools
• Experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, or containerized environments
