Software Sales BDM – GCC Region (Logistics & SCM Software)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager / Sales Manager - SCM Software with extensive experience in selling logistics and supply chain software solutions like Warehousing, Distribution, Freight forwarding, Transportation, project logistics, Ecommerce Fulfilment etc, specifically targeting the GCC region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to driving sales growth and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate in-depth industry knowledge in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

· Identify target areas and verticals based on market potential in the GCC.

· Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas while adhering to our organization’s engagement rules.

· Develop a well-qualified sales pipeline through strong relationship-building with key decision-makers.

· Conduct research, cold calling, and on-site meetings with prospects across GCC countries.

· Prepare and present compelling proposals; close new business opportunities in identified verticals.

· Develop and maintain a Sales Territory Plan for the GCC and ensure profitability.

· Actively participate in trade shows, user groups, associations, and networking events.

· Provide regular feedback and performance updates to senior management.

· Collaborate with Marketing for strategic content development (e.g., scripts, presentations, proposals).

· Maintain all leads and opportunities via CRM tools ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

· Stay updated on product offerings and continually improve selling techniques.

Candidate Requirements:

· Proven 8–10 years of sales and business development experience in logistics software.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

· Strong pipeline management and multitasking skills across multiple accounts.

· Self-driven and capable of building and growing a sales team.

· Must open to frequent travel across GCC region.

· Flexibility to travel as needed and conduct client in-person presentations.

· Highly organized, persuasive, and entrepreneurial in approach.
