Software Support Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Support Technician to join our technical support team. Responsibilities include resolving application issues, installing/programming software, troubleshooting systems, assisting users with technical problems and user training. Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and customer support experience required. Previous experience programming Parking Equipment, Access Control Systems and CCTV systems a plus. Key Responsibilities

Provide support for Industry specific software/hardware products and applications. (Training will be provided for Industry specific software/hardware products)

Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of software systems, hardware, and networking equipment. End-user software training.

Collaborate with field technicians and factory support teams to troubleshoot and fix issues.

Document work orders, technical issues and create knowledge base articles.

Occasional field and weekend work.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Software Technician, Technical Support Representative, or similar role.

Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), networking and databases.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Technical degree or relevant certification a plus
