Soil Drilling Assistant - (Class A CDL Driver)

GESTRA Engineering, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in geotechnical, structural, pavement and construction materials engineering. We are located in Milwaukee and are looking for CDL Drivers to assist us in transporting our soil drilling equipment throughout Wisconsin. Their role job title would be starting as a Drilling Assistant.

Drilling Assistant position is considered entry level and we are willing to train motivated individuals.

Applicants should have mechanical aptitude, good communication skills and be able to follow directions.

Overnight jobs are assigned on average 0-1 times each week. We cover lodging and per diem.

Requirements

• CDL with Air Brake and Manual Transmission endorsement
• High School Diploma/GED
• Requires good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must be able to lift 50-80 pounds.

Additional Info

• Full-time position.
• Hours generally 7 AM to 4 PM.
• Position requires year round, outdoor work.
• Some overnight travel and Saturday hours.
