Salary: AED 7,000 – 8,000

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solar Electrical Engineer to join our renewable energy team in Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, testing, and maintaining solar power systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, plan, and implement solar PV systems for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.

Conduct load analysis, energy yield assessments, and feasibility studies.

Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.

Oversee installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar panels, inverters, transformers, and related electrical equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and international electrical standards.

Perform troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance of solar systems.

Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.

Train and supervise technicians and site workers on electrical installation and safety practices.

Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project progress updates.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering (or equivalent).

3–8 years of proven experience in solar PV projects (design, installation, and maintenance).

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and power distribution.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar design tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes.

Ability to work in multicultural and challenging environments.

Good communication skills in English (French is an added advantage).
