Solar Project Manager – Residential Projects

Position Overview

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager with strong communication skills and technical understanding of the solar process — from AHJ permits to BOMs and material orders.

Responsibilities

• Submit and manage AHJ permit applications and interconnection paperwork.
• Read and interpret solar blueprints and electrical one-lines.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and order materials accurately and on time.
• Coordinate between customers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Maintain exceptional communication with homeowners, inspectors, and installers through phone calls and emails.
• Track project progress from contract to PTO using company CRM.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet all quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar, construction, or project management.
• Proven experience with permit submissions and AHJ requirements.
• Ability to read solar plans, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of material ordering and job costing.
• Excellent phone and email communication — this is a customer-facing position.
• Highly organized and proactive; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Tesla Powerwall, Enphase, or SolarEdge systems.
• Experience with CRM systems such as GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or Monday.com.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
