Job Purpose:
The Site Engineer is responsible for the execution, supervision, coordination and commissioning of all on-site engineering components and equipment for solar power projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role demands strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily site activities including civil, mechanical, and electrical installations related to solar power systems.
- Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with design specifications, approved drawings, engineering standards, and project timelines.
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project milestones.
- Monitor installation and commissioning of solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and associated electrical systems (AC/DC).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site promptly.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure the execution meets engineering and safety standards.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all installations, and commissioning records.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct tool-box talks and risk assessments at the site.
- Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and follow the safety regulations as per company and legal standards.
- Liaise with design teams, procurement, logistics, and project managers to ensure material availability and schedule alignment.
- Interface with clients, vendors, contractors, and local authorities during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain detailed site records including daily progress reports (DPR), material tracking, manpower logs, incident reports, etc.
- Provide weekly and monthly project updates to the project management team.
- Support in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in solar project.
- Proven track record of supervising installation and commissioning of solar PV systems.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
