Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled SOLIDWORKS Technical Support & Training Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering post-sales technical assistance, conducting product training, resolving software-related issues, and ensuring successful adoption of SOLIDWORKS and its ecosystem by our clients. You will serve as the key technical bridge between customers, internal teams, and Dassault Systèmes to drive client satisfaction and success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Post-Sales Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide prompt technical assistance to customers using SOLIDWORKS and related solutions (Simulation, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE).
- Troubleshoot installation, activation, licensing, modeling, performance, and configuration issues.
- Deliver support via calls, emails, screen sharing, and remote tools.
- Document all cases, solutions, and feedback in internal systems and Dassault’s SR portal.
- Collaborate with Dassault Systèmes for escalated issues and ensure resolution.
2. On-Site Customer Support & Implementation
- Visit client sites for installation, system setup, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Support deployment and configuration of SOLIDWORKS products and add-ons.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation with hands-on onboarding support.
3. Training & Enablement
- Conduct standard/customized training sessions (classroom & virtual) on SOLIDWORKS CAD, Simulation, PDM, etc.
- Train customer teams on best practices, workflows, and advanced features.
- Create/update training materials, guides, and quick-start documentation.
- Promote adoption of new features and updates.
4. Customer Success & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients through proactive technical engagement.
- Monitor product usage to ensure ROI and customer success.
- Recommend workflow improvements and optimizations.
- Relay customer feedback, bug reports, and suggestions to internal and Dassault teams.
5. Internal Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with sales/marketing teams for presales demos, proposals, and solution positioning.
- Share insights from customer interactions to enhance knowledge bases and training processes.
- Contribute to internal team growth through documentation and knowledge-sharing.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Surfacing, Sheet Metal, etc.).
- Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and material properties.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills in CAD environments.
- Working knowledge of system hardware and Windows OS.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, time management, and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai.
Preferred Skills
- SOLIDWORKS certifications (CSWA, CSWP, or higher).
- Exposure to SOLIDWORKS Simulation, PDM, or 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
- Experience in CAD technical support, customer success, or training.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, support portals (Dassault SR system), or CRM tools.

Pay: ₹216,969.09 - ₹1,106,947.75 per year
