AS400 – Production Support Engineer

What You Will Do :

• Provide end-to-end production support for AS400 applications. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents ensuring minimal downtime.
• Investigate root causes, apply permanent fixes, and document resolutions.
• Coordinate with business users, developers, and vendors for quick issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call/rotational support shifts covering evenings, nights, and weekends. Support change deployments, patches, and upgrades while maintaining stability.
• Identify and suggest process improvements for production stability.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications :

• 6–10 years of experience in AS400 production support or application support.
• Strong skills in RPGLE, ILE concepts, and SQL for debugging and issue analysis.
• Knowledge of incident/change/problem management processes (ITIL preferred).
• Ability to analyze issues under pressure and provide quick resolutions.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional/global teams.

Good to Have :

• Experience with IBM RDI, Help Systems SEQUEL, and change management tools. Exposure to automation in monitoring or incident management.

Shift Timings: Rotational shifts (including evenings/nights/weekends)

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
