Sollas Machine Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sollas Machine Engineer to join our perfume manufacturing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing Sollas overwrapping and packaging machines to ensure smooth production operations and high-quality packaging of perfume products and gift sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain Sollas overwrapping and packaging machines.
• Perform machine adjustments, product changeovers, and line setup for different perfume packaging formats.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on Sollas machines and related packaging equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reliability.
• Ensure all perfume products are packaged according to company quality standards and brand specifications.
• Inspect wrapping, sealing, alignment, and overall packaging quality of finished products.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance teams to achieve daily production targets.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, machine performance, and production reports.
• Train and support machine operators on proper machine operation and basic troubleshooting procedures.
• Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate timely replacement of critical components.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, packaging defects, and material waste.
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and testing of new packaging equipment when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and maintaining Sollas packaging or overwrapping machines.
• Experience in the perfume, cosmetics, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or packaging industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, SOPs, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and Tagalog are required, as the role involves coordination with a multilingual production team.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
