Solution Architecture Expert

Overview:

As a Solution Architecture Expert, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions to meet specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and strategic technology direction. You will translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust, scalable, and secure solution designs that enable business capabilities and support enterprise technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define and document appropriate solution

architectures.

• Design end-to-end solutions, considering application components, data models, integration

patterns, infrastructure (cloud/on-prem), security, scalability, and reliability.

• Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and

roadmaps.

• Evaluate technology options and make recommendations for specific solutions.

• Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation (diagrams,

specifications).

• Collaborate closely with development teams, infrastructure engineers, security specialists,

and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

• Present solution designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Participate in architecture review boards and governance processes.

• Provide technical guidance and support during solution implementation.

• Stay current with relevant technologies and architectural patterns.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. (Master’s

degree is preferred)

• Relevant certifications (e.g., cloud architect certifications, TOGAF).

Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in software development, systems

engineering, or technical design.

• 3+ years of experience in a Solution Architect or similar role.

• Deep expertise in specific technology areas (e.g., cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP,

microservices, APIs, data engineering, specific programming languages/frameworks).

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven ability to design complex, distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of application architecture, integration patterns, database design, and

infrastructure concepts (including cloud).
