About the Role

We're aU.S. marketing agency, and we are looking for a strategic thinker who can translate broad business direction into innovative, scalable solutions.

The Solutions Architect (SA) ensures technical clarity and feasibility across the full lifecycle of a client engagement, from early discovery and sales conversations through delivery.

This role operates at the intersection of Sales, Engineering, and Client leadership, defining the architectural direction for projects and ensuring that proposed solutions are technically sound, realistically scoped, and aligned with business goals.

The SA works closely with delivery teams to establish system architecture, identify risks early, and ensure engineering teams have a clear technical foundation before execution begins. While not a day-to-day development role, the SA may validate architecture through spikes, technical exploration, and proof-of-concept work when needed.

This role is fully remote internationally.

What You'll Do

Participate in technical discovery and support solution scoping during pre-sales.
Define high-level system architecture and technical approach for engagements.
Evaluate integrations, APIs, infrastructure, and third-party tools.
Identify technical risks, dependencies, and feasibility constraints early.
Provide structured technical input for estimation and planning.
Define milestone-level delivery structure before sprint execution begins.
Lead technical handoff from sales to delivery teams.
Support technical client conversations and architectural decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master's degree a plus)
7+ years of experience in solution architecture or related roles (software development, DevOps, systems engineering)
3-5 years of hands-on experience in solution design and implementation, with deep expertise in a specific domain (cloud computing, security, etc.)
Proven track record of leading and executing complex technical projects
Mastery of cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and IT security
Strong ability to generate innovative solutions and develop new approaches
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills
Certification in solution architecture (AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
Experience with enterprise integration patterns and best practices
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
Experience with automation and orchestration tools
Strong leadership and influencing skills
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
