Solutions Design Manager

The Solutions & Design Manager - BT - MENAT will be responsible for providing expertise with expertise in hydraulic calculations, chilled water system design, and plumbing applications. The incumbent will combine strong engineering knowledge with a commercial mindset, capable of preparing detailed technical proposals, conducting site inspections, and supervising installations. This role requires both technical accuracy and the ability to present solutions effectively to consultants and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Designs underfloor heating and cooling systems.
• Performs hydraulic calculations and prepares system sizing.
• Designs chilled water HVAC systems, including piping layouts and equipment selection.
• Support plumbing system applications, including domestic hot and cold water systems.
• Conduct site inspections to verify design implementation and supervise installation activities.
• Develops technical and techno-commercial proposals tailored to project requirements.
• Prepares case studies and initial high-level studies to demonstrate energy performance and feasibility.
• Provides inputs on Building Management Systems (BMS) integration with HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Produces accurate and detailed designs/drawings using AutoCAD (mandatory) and Revit (preferred).
• Delivers impactful technical presentations to consultants and communicates commercial value to clients.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, project specifications, and best practices.
• Participate in meetings with consultants and contractors along with the sales team to explain product suitability for targeted projects.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Graduate, preferably in Mech/Electrical
• 10 years and must be from the HVAC & Water solutions industry.
• Previous involvement in underfloor heating and cooling projects.
• Exposure to large-scale chilled water HVAC and plumbing applications.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and international clients in the building systems sector.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, chilled water HVAC systems, and plumbing applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and working knowledge of Revit.
• Experience in preparing technical proposals and techno-commercial studies.
• Strong understanding of BMS integration in HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Hands-on experience with site inspection and installation supervision.
• Excellent presentation skills, able to engage consultants technically and clients commercially.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel extensively
• Excellent communication, both written and spoken in English. Arabic would be a distinct advantage.
