7. Training servers and bartenders on proper wine service techniques and product knowledge.
8. Collaborating with the culinary team to design wine pairings for seasonal menus.
9. Monitoring wine sales and identifying opportunities to enhance profitability.
10. Maintaining strong relationships with wine distributors and negotiating favorable terms.
11. Ensuring wines are served at the correct temperature and in appropriate glassware.
12. Updating the wine program to reflect market trends, guest feedback, and industry innovations.
13. Handling guest inquiries or complaints related to wine with professionalism and expertise.
14. Assisting in the development of standard operating procedures for wine service.
15. Promoting responsible alcohol consumption and adhering to licensing regulations.
16. Covering shifts or duties in the bar or service area during staff shortages.
17. Leading staff briefings or presentations on new wine arrivals.
18. Carrying out other related tasks and responsibilities.
