S&OP Senior Specialist

We are currently seeking a talented “S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Senior Specialist ” to join our dynamic “Supply Chain ” team based in “HQ, Istanbul ”. This role will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group. The Global S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) Senior Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the S&OP process across the global organization. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams in countries, to ensure alignment of demand and supply plans. The S&OP Senior Specialist will be responsible for analyzing data, preparing reports, and providing insights to optimize inventory levels, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

Global S&OP Consolidation and Governance:

• Ensure timely submission and alignment of country-level forecasts and supply plans in SAP IBP according to the global S&OP calendar.
• Consolidate regional inputs into a global demand and supply view, highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.
• Monitor adherence to S&OP process standards across subsidiaries and provide guidance or training where needed.
• Act as the key liaison between country S&OP teams and headquarters to ensure consistency, data quality, and standardization.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and summaries of global S&OP results to support decision-making.
• Support countries in adopting best practices and functionalities within SAP IBP.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (mainly IBP) to support the S&OP process.
• Prepare and maintain S&OP reports and dashboards to provide visibility into demand, supply, and supply chain metrics.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve forecast accuracy and bias.

Demand and Supply Planning:

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather and validate demand forecasts.
• Work with supply chain and operations teams to assess supply capabilities and constraints.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of demand and supply plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve S&OP processes and tools.
• Support the implementation of best practices and standardized procedures across the organization.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance supply chain performance and achieve business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Facilitate regular S&OP meetings and communication between cross-functional teams.
• Provide analytical support and insights to assist decision-making at various levels of the organization.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues related to demand and supply planning.
• Develop and recommend mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions and variances.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or a related analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in a regional or global role is a plus.
• Strong skills in process governance, standardization, and stakeholder management across multiple countries/regions.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse, international teams and manage communication across different cultures and time zones.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SAP, IBP, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with S&OP processes and methodologies is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
