We are inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager/Manager/ – Sourcing and Procurement

Objective

To act as a senior buyer to lead / work on higher value projects which have a regulatory or strategic component to them, require higher technical and sourcing skills (e.g. risk mitigation, negotiation) and which will deliver competitive advantage and essential business outcomes (e.g. cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation)

Responsibilities

1. The individual will drive the right business outcomes during the execution of projects and will support the local business in ensuring that the outputs of sourcing projects are embedded in the business to drive value through the contract lifecycle.

2. Handons Fin Tech, IT Automation, IT Integration

3. Although not directly responsible for global Category Strategies and Commodity plans, the individual will work with the Category Managers monitoring local market conditions and will work with Category Management regarding emerging opportunities or changes.

4. Ensure maximum contractual protection for the business, considering the Procurement Handbook requirements and local regulatory issues.

5. This role will ensure that businesses have operational accountability for contracts after signature and work with the SRM team to drive appropriate deployment of the supplier relationship management framework.

6. Provide robust reports on progress against assigned sourcing projects

7. In the execution of sourcing projects, instill a responsive and strategic service and delivery culture, which makes business stakeholders value Procurement.

8. Lead the application of a range of sourcing approaches, including the use of eSourcing, to deliver

9. Support Category Management as required in the development and review of robust, forward-looking category plans based on business and product needs, supply market dynamics, and technological changes in marketplace.

10. Foster and build relationships with key stakeholders and business partners as relevant to role.

11. Drive and lead various governance forums for projects as required

12. Market and communicate appropriate category guidelines into the business.

13. Drive embedding of best practices and compliance to all Source to Pay processes through personal performance.

14. Achieve or exceed agreed savings target for each sourcing project.

15. Lead negotiation and agreement of terms and conditions for in-scope contracts / support onshore major and/or complex contracts

16. Understand complex business problems, apply advanced analytical thinking / market knowledge and drive business outcome

17. Manage all initiatives to a robust plan in alignment with business/process milestones.

18. Stakeholder Reach: Engages with Group-level senior executives, including HR, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business Unit Heads

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

· Post graduation with function specific certification or degree

· 10+ years relevant work experience in a sourcing role preferably with indirect services experience

· Business knowledge and day-to-day understanding of Sourcing and Procurement activities

· Good communication and analytical skills.

· Strong analytics skills

Preferred qualifications

· Strong customer-centric focus, relationship management with key partners, persuasive, proactive and can-do attitude a must

· Good command of MS Office Tools (i.e. excel, ppt, PowerApps)

· Exposure to other ERP systems (Oracle / SAP / Coupa any other S&P tools is positive)

· Knowledge of reporting using SQL extracts and PowerBI/Tableau is a plus
