Sourcing First Mile - Operation Executive

Position: Sourcing First Mile Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing First Mile Operations Executive to manage and streamline purchase order coordination, vendor follow-ups, and inbound logistics. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate order tracking, and smooth coordination between vendors and the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Coordination & PO Tracking

• Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely Purchase Order (PO) fulfillment.

• Track PO status, highlight potential delays or exceptions, and escalate when required.

• Maintain vendor performance data for accuracy, timelines, and issue tracking.

Issue Resolution & Coordination

• Provide early visibility on vendor delays, misses, and operational bottlenecks.

• Coordinate closely with the Warehouse (WH) team to ensure on-time receiving of goods.

• Act as the primary point of contact to address and resolve any stuck or delayed PO cases.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of POs, shipment updates, delays, and delivery schedules.

• Prepare weekly reports on PO status, vendor performance, and issue resolution.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in sourcing, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations.

• Strong communication, follow-up, and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and basic ERP systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to solve problems proactively.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in fashion, jewellery, retail, or e-commerce industry.

• Knowledge of first-mile operations and procurement cycle.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
