Sourcing Specialist

Sourcing Specialist (IC2/IC3) - Remote / Local to Boston, MA

Our client, a global technology-focused organization, is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement and sourcing operations with a strong emphasis on data, reporting, and process improvement. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to help improve visibility, accuracy, and decision-making across sourcing activities in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement activities through data management and reporting
• Compile, organize, and analyze large datasets related to parts, pricing, and sourcing activity
• Assist with request-for-quote and request-for-information processes
• Track changes related to materials, costs, and sourcing inputs and flag inconsistencies
• Maintain and organize documentation related to sourcing processes, suppliers, and contracts
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance data accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and planning teams on sourcing-related tasks
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in sourcing, procurement, operations, finance, or data-focused roles
• Proficiency with Google Suite and Excel
• Exposure to SQL, Python, or similar data tools preferred
