About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join the Al Mandhar Lounge team in Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Support the Executive Chef in setting, maintaining, and improving service and food quality standards.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to high standards following recipes, hygiene rules, and cleaning procedures.
  • Communicate operational issues promptly, assist in menu development, and ensure use of seasonal ingredients.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, monitor adherence to policies, and maintain training programs.
  • Ensure cleanliness, proper equipment maintenance, and compliance with HACCP and Jumeirah safety standards.
  • Promote teamwork, resource efficiency, and continuous improvement in kitchen operations.
