Job Title: Sous Chef

Mandatory experience in Turkish cuisine

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a restaurant based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the quality, consistency, and creativity of our cuisine while working closely with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing, planning, and preparing the menu
  • Oversee daily food preparation and ensure high standards of presentation
  • Manage inventory and ensure the kitchen is properly stocked
  • Supervise kitchen staff and enforce hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
  • Develop new recipes and refine existing dishes, with a focus on Turkish cuisine
  • Monitor and optimize kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment
  • Mandatory experience in Turkish cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of foodsafety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
  • Excellent culinary skills with strong attention to quality and detail
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Culinary arts degree or formal apprenticeship is preferred
