Position: Sous Chef

About the Role
Bistro Noir is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing high-quality culinary operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, a passion for excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Supervise, train, and guide kitchen staff to maintain consistency and performance
- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Manage inventory, stock control, and procurement processes
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Contribute to menu planning, development, and innovation
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant culinary certification or diploma (preferred)
