Indigo Hotel Lahore is seeking a highly skilled Chinese Sous Chef to lead and strengthen one of our key culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Chinese kitchen section
- Ensure authenticity, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
- Supervise wok stations and maintain high-speed service efficiency
- Train and lead kitchen staff to meet performance and quality standards
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and cost control
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety compliance
- Collaborate with management on menu development and improvements
- Handle pressure during peak service while maintaining output quality
Candidate Profile
- 8–10 years of culinary experience, including proven Sous Chef role
- Strong expertise in Chinese cuisine (traditional & commercial styles)
- Excellent command of wok cooking techniques and kitchen coordination
- Experience in high-volume restaurant or hotel environments
- Strong leadership, discipline, and operational control
- Ability to manage teams and maintain consistency under pressure
