SP3D Piping Designer (5–6 Years Experience)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SP3D Piping Designer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Refinery / Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon EPC projects.
The candidate should have strong expertise in Hexagon Smart 3D (SP3D) for developing 3D piping models, layouts, isometrics, and extracting MTO for refinery projects.

The role involves close coordination with piping engineers, stress teams, and other disciplines to ensure safe, clash-free, and constructible piping designs.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop 3D piping models using SP3D (Smart 3D) for refinery EPC projects.
• Prepare and update piping layouts, plot plans, and routing models.
• Generate isometric drawings from SP3D with accurate BOM/MTO.
• Coordinate with piping stress engineers and incorporate stress requirements.
• Perform clash detection and model reviews with other disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation).
• Implement client and PMC comments in the 3D model.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, refinery standards, and project specifications.
• Support piping material take-off (MTO) and construction queries.
• Participate in model review meetings with client/PMC/licensor.
• Maintain model quality, naming conventions, and project standards.

Experience & Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–6 years experience as SP3D Piping Designer in refinery / oil & gas EPC projects
• Strong hands-on experience in Hexagon Smart 3D (SP3D)
• Good knowledge of piping layouts, isometrics, and refinery piping practices
• Experience in large-scale refinery or hydrocarbon projects preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
