Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of the spa, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, and profitable business performance. The Spa Manager will lead the spa team, manage revenue generation, maintain operational excellence, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa and wellness facilities.
- Ensure all spa services are delivered according to established standards and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the spa.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of spa products and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Build strong relationships with guests to encourage repeat business.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate spa therapists, receptionists, and support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower requirements.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Drive spa revenue through effective sales strategies and promotions.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
- Upsell spa treatments, wellness packages, memberships, and retail products.
- Develop marketing initiatives in collaboration with the sales and marketing team.
Financial Management
- Prepare and manage spa budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost control measures are implemented.
- Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage payroll and operational expenses within approved budgets.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate operational and financial records.
- Prepare management reports on spa performance, guest feedback, and revenue results.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in spa operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or wellness centers preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness programs, and beauty therapies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
Preferred Skills
- Strong sales and revenue-generation capabilities.
- Knowledge of wellness trends and spa industry best practices.
- Ability to train and develop high-performing teams.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
