Summary

The Spa Supervisor is a working leader responsible for supporting daily spa operations, guiding therapists and technicians, and ensuring proper scheduling and coverage. This role oversees the department in the absence of the Spa Director while delivering licensed services and driving guest satisfaction through brand standards and service excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support spa therapists and technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality service execution.
• Assist with scheduling to maintain appropriate coverage during peak and down times.
• Oversee spa operations in the absence of the Spa Director.
• Perform licensed services in accordance with established treatment and safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Spa by JW brand standards and universal precautions.
• Assess guest contraindications and ensure safe, appropriate service delivery.
• Maintain expert knowledge of spa services, products, hotel amenities, and local area information.
• Recommend additional treatments and retail products to enhance the guest experience and support sales goals.
• Monitor product inventory and communicate supply needs to the Spa Director.
• Report incidents or accidents immediately to leadership.

What You’ll Bring

• Current state license as a Massage Therapist, Nail Technician, or Esthetician (required).
• Prior spa or wellness experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to recommend retail solutions.
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and brand standard excellence.
• Professional communication skills and ability to lead by example.
