Role Overview

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional and high-quality massage treatments

to clients, helping them relieve pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall wellness. This role requires

strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Massage & Client Care

 Perform a range of massage treatments as outlined in the spa menu, ensuring a personalized

experience for each guest.

 Consult with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.

 Ensure a relaxing and professional spa atmosphere, enhancing guest comfort and satisfaction.

 Accompany clients to and from treatment rooms, offering exceptional customer service.

Spa Hygiene & Facility Maintenance

 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

 Set up spa and treatment stations before each session and maintain tidiness throughout the

shift.

 Sterilize massage tools and equipment after each session in compliance with health and safety

regulations.

 Ensure that linens and towels are cleaned, changed, and stocked as needed.

Professionalism & Compliance

 Adhere to all applicable spa standards, policies, and procedures.

 Maintain accurate client records, including treatment details and preferences.

Spa Therapist

 Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry trends through training and

professional development.

 Uphold high standards of personal grooming and professional appearance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certifications

 Certification or diploma in massage therapy from a recognized institution.

 Knowledge of various massage techniques and their therapeutic benefits.

Skills & Competencies

 Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist.

 Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

 Ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.

 Dexterity and physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods.

 Comfortable working with a diverse clientele.

Technical Proficiency

 Basic computer skills for record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
