Job Summary

Defense Systems Group (DSG) provides analysis-based decision support to senior leaders on space architectures, policy and strategy, technology development, warfighter capability enablers, systems integration, defense industrial base, and threat reduction to help shape existing and future space missions across the national security space (NSS) enterprise. DSG is unique at Aerospace as it not only directly supports major customers, including the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command, Air Force Materiel Command, and senior leadership at the Pentagon, but also provides a broad range of technical support across the national space enterprise, maintaining vertical responsibilities with customers’ portfolios as well as horizontal, matrixed responsibilities across the corporation. Additionally, DSG provides deep technical expertise to the Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC) in the conception, design, acquisition, launch and operations of satellite, launch vehicle, ground control, and range systems.

As the Space Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Engineer (Senior Project Engineer - Communications Systems Engineering) you will provide communication systems engineering expertise for the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Operations Command Mission Delta 3. Mission Delta 3 is the USSF’s space electromagnetic warfare (EW) mission delta. You’ll help Mission Delta 3 in operational activities as well as define, acquire, verify, field, integrate, maintain, and refine USSF space EW warfighting capabilities while being cognizant of cost, schedule, technical performance, and risks. You’ll work with space EW systems such as the Counter Communications System (CCS), the Space Electromagnetic Warfare Operating Location (SEWOL), the Remote Modular Terminals (RMTs), and Bounty Hunter. As part of the space EW community, you’ll provide work to support operational activities and influence future capability needs.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility in Peterson Space Force Base, CO.
