Spare Parts Manager

General Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Spare Parts Supervisor to take a leading role in managing spare parts operations, dealer coordination, and stock optimization processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop spare parts planning and inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels using advanced demand forecasting and data-driven methodologies
• Oversee end-to-end spare parts availability, including inventory planning, monitoring, and continuous optimization across the dealer network
• Manage and optimize dealer ordering processes and logistics operations for both Parts & Accessories to ensure service level targets are met
• Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (BO, VOR, MOS, stock turnover, availability ratios); provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock efficiency, reduce back orders, and improve vehicle uptime
• Establish, plan, and oversee general and on-the-job training programs for dealer personnel in line with Chery’s spare parts policies, standards, and operational procedures
• Ensure full compliance with local laws, regulations, and internal policies related to spare parts operations
• Lead and supervise import procedures for spare parts, proactively managing regulatory changes and ensuring smooth customs and compliance processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, After Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and HQ teams to align spare parts strategy with overall business objectives
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a performance-driven and continuous improvement culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field)
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in spare parts operations within the automotive industry, with proven managerial or team leadership experience
• Strong expertise in spare parts planning, inventory management, logistics, and dealer management systems.
• Solid knowledge of local spare parts regulations, customs, and import procedures.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and DMS/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• B-class driver’s license and willingness to travel when required.
