Position Overview

The Spartacus Web Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing Spartacus storefront interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with SAP Commerce backend services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, responsive, and interactive web experiences that meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front-End Development

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Spartacus storefront applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components and layouts.
• Ensure high-quality code, performance, and adherence to web development best practices.

2. Integration & Backend Connectivity

• Connect Spartacus front-end with SAP Commerce OCC APIs and other backend services.
• Implement data fetching, state management, and error handling in the frontend.
• Collaborate with SAP Commerce developers to ensure end-to-end integration.

3. Code Quality & Best Practices

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, reusable components, and modular architecture.
• Optimize application performance, load times, and SEO readiness.

4. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and back-end developers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship for junior front-end developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Spartacus, Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with SAP Commerce OCC APIs.
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience Requirements

• 3–6+ years of front-end development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Spartacus and SAP Commerce integration.

Preferred Certifications

• SAP Certified Spartacus Developer (if available)
• Angular Developer Certification (optional)
• Cloud/DevOps experience is a plus

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English (required)
• Arabic is a plus(optional)
