Special Education Teacher

EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to work on our school campus in Wilbraham, MA, for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

Position Details:
Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Wilbraham, MA
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 6, 2026 (with strong potential for renewal for the 2026–27 school year)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Standard School Hours
Hourly Rate: $45 – $55/hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Credential Required: MA Sp. Ed. Teacher License

Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and deliver specialized instruction for student's with disabilities.
• Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff.
• Track and report student progress.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid MA Education Specialist Credential.
• Prior experience working with K–12 students in special education preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
