Application Procedure: A complete application packet for any instructional position or substitute position includes the Standard Pennsylvania Teaching Application, college transcript(s), PA teaching certificate, three clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal and Fingerprint) that are current within one year, a certificate of completion for Act 126 Training, and Act 168 Sexual Misconduct-Abuse, references and the required Health and TB Form, and letters of recommendation. Securing proper clearances is part of any position's application process. Currently, three clearances are required, a Criminal Background Check, a Child Abuse Clearance and a FBI Fingerprint Clearance. Applicants must also complete the Act 168 Form. Qualified applicants for any instructional, non-instructional or supplemental position should submit a letter of intent specifying the position and addressing qualifications, as well as the standard application, clearances, Act 126 Certificate, Act 168 Sexual Misconduct-Abuse references and the required Health and TB Form. Applications must be received or postmarked no later than the indicated deadline date.
