Job Overview

The Special Educator will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and supporting students with special needs. The role involves developing individualized education plans, implementing evidence-based teaching strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inclusive and effective learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess the learning needs and abilities of students with special needs

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students

• Deliver lessons using specialized teaching strategies and adaptive techniques

  Dictionaries & Encyclopedias

• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching approaches as needed

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and development

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams (therapists, psychologists, educators)

• Provide guidance and support to students for academic, social, and emotional development

• Ensure compliance with ethical standards, safety protocols, and institutional policies

Requirements
