Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are seeking a skilled and passionate AI Production & Security Engineer to join our Service AI Engineering team. This role will work closely with a Senior AI Production & Security Engineer to support production application support for enterprise AI applications and implement security controls that protect intellectual property (IP). We encourage you to apply if you’re a hands-on engineer with strong security fundamentals, solid operational instincts, and a drive to learn and grow into greater technical ownership.
Key Responsibilities
-
Execute AI security testing and adversarial assessments (e.g., prompt injection, jailbreaks, data exfiltration, tool/plugin abuse) by running test plans, maintaining test cases, and helping automate regression checks.
-
Support production operations for enterprise AI applications: participate in incident triage, debug issues, implement fixes, and contribute to post-incident follow-ups and reliability improvements.
-
Implement and maintain observability and monitoring (logs/metrics/traces) to detect suspicious or unsafe interaction patterns and reliability issues, and tune alerting to reduce noise while improving detection.
-
Build and enhance IP protection and safety guardrails (sensitive data detection/redaction, policy enforcement, access-control verification, safe tool-use constraints, audit logging) under established standards.
-
Contribute to threat modeling and secure design reviews for AI application changes (model, retrieval/data access, tools/agents), documenting risks and helping implement mitigations before release.
-
Implement DevSecOps controls for AI applications (CI/CD security gates, dependency updates, secrets management, least privilege, vulnerability remediation, safe rollout/rollback practices).
-
Collaborate with engineering and corporate security stakeholders by documenting runbooks/playbooks, improving operational processes, and contributing to security and reliability standards.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience in security engineering, production engineering/SRE, DevSecOps, or closely related roles, including supporting production systems.
-
Hands-on experience securing and operating cloud-native applications (containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, secrets management, IAM/RBAC, logging/monitoring).
-
Familiarity with AI/LLM security risks and mitigations (prompt injection/jailbreaks, data exfiltration, unsafe tool use, evaluation gates) and interest in staying current as threats evolve.
-
Strong programming and troubleshooting skills (Python preferred) and ability to build automation for testing, monitoring, and response workflows.
-
Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively in incident response and cross-functional security/engineering workflows.
-
Prior experience in environments protecting proprietary IP and/or high-assurance systems is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
