Specialist - Business Development

Muscat, Oman

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies targeting Oil & Gas clients and freight forwarding opportunities.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new business in domestic and international markets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements in line with client needs.
  • Coordinate closely with operations, logistics, and customs clearance teams for smooth execution.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to promote services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5–7 years sales experience in Oil & Gas or freight forwarding sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
