OBJECTIVES:

Specialist – Business Development supports the Commercial team in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding client relationships, and strengthening the company’s presence across the UAE healthcare and diagnostic services sector.
The role focuses on market research, lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, and coordination with internal teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and supporting senior leadership in executing commercial strategies.

ACADEMIC/SKILLS REQUIREMENT:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Life Science or a related field

Master’s degree in relevant field

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

· 3-5 years of relevant progressive experience in a similar role

· Proven experience in Stakeholder manager across healthcare sector

Desired:

Experience within a large healthcare organization is required; UAE corporate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct ongoing research on the UAE medical laboratory market including pricing trends, test menu developments, competitor offerings, and demand patterns.

· Analyze customer needs, segment profiles, and service gaps to support targeted business development plans.

· Build and maintain strong working relationships with clinics, medical centers, hospitals, corporates, and insurance partners at an operational/liaison level.

· Understand client requirements and communicate them internally to ensure accurate, timely service delivery.

· Support Senior Manager BD in managing key accounts and ensuring service satisfaction.

· Assist in implementing BD initiatives aligned with organizational growth priorities.

· Prepare insights, reports, and dashboards to support strategic discussions with senior management.

· Work closely with laboratory operations, logistics, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure coordinated execution of BD activities.

Provide timely updates to senior leadership on BD progress, market signals, and client concerns.

Technical:

· Perform targeted outreach through cold calling, email campaigns, and digital channels to create leads across clinics, corporates, home-care providers, and specialty practices.

· Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate lead, prospect, and pipeline information.

· Prepare tailored proposals, capability presentations, quotation formats, and commercial submissions.

· Coordinate internally to ensure proposals meet client requirements, operational feasibility, and pricing policies.

· Present company services to prospective clients in meetings, online demos, and industry events.

· Support the Sales / Senior Manager BD in negotiations by providing required data, pricing justification, competitor analysis, and operational inputs.

· Follow up on pending proposals, renewals, and contract documentations.

· Track and report weekly/monthly key metrics such as lead-to-conversion rates, pipeline size, client satisfaction issues, and competitor moves.

· Share insights on regulatory updates (DOH, DHA, EHS), reimbursement trends, test innovations, and customer feedback.

· Represent the organization at conferences, medical events, networking forums, and exhibitions to build relationships and promote services.

· Maintain a network of relevant contacts in the UAE medical ecosystem.

· Recommend enhancements in BD processes, client onboarding workflows, and communication practices to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,400.00 - AED13,600.00 per month
