Specialist Engineer - QA/QC (Fabrication)

The Specialist Engineer – QA/QC (Fabrication) is responsible for ensuring that all fabrication activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements within the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control fabrication activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, procedures, and standards

• Review and approve QA/QC documents such as ITPs, WPS, PQRs, and Method Statements

• Coordinate welding, inspection, and NDT activities

• Conduct inspections and witness tests during fabrication

• Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions

• Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and documentation

• Prepare and review quality records and final dossiers

• Coordinate with fabrication teams, inspectors, and project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering

• 15+ years of experience in QA/QC fabrication within the oil and gas industry

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and inspection

• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)

• Good communication and reporting skills
