Specialist Engineer, Reliability

Expert in a specific area of engineering, often with extensive experience and knowledge in that field.

Ability to interpret asset performance data and present findings to stakeholders.

Lead and perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis for plant systems and equipment across ADNOC assets.

Monitor and assess key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, Availability, and other reliability indices through validated data sources (e.g., SAP, Maximo).

Develop, validate, and optimize equipment-specific maintenance strategies and preventive maintenance programs using RCM, FMEA/FMECA, including asset criticality assessment, and ensuring alignment with ADNOC Offshore policies, safety requirements (SIL), and industry best practices.

Facilitate and lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and provide structured recommendations to prevent recurrence of failures.

Review existing preventive maintenance (PM) history and execution data to re-engineer and optimize PM strategies for effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with actual field practices.
Qualifications And Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Corrosion, Metallurgy, Process or related Engineering field (Master's Degree preferred).
Professional Certifications: (preferred)

Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)

Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)

Certified Oil and Gas Maintenance Engineer

Certification in the field of Reliability Engineering from reputed Organizations/Societies e.g. ASQ, SRE, CMRP/SMRP, TUV etc.
Experience
Minimum 12 years of Extensive experience in RAM analysis, measurement of reliability, facilitation of RCAs and FMEA/RCMs, PM optimization, and asset criticality preferably with ADNOC or other major operators. Offshore experience is a plus.
