Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate trades and subcontractors during civil construction phases including excavation, foundation work, concrete pours, and structural elements. Monitor work quality against project specifications and architectural drawings, conducting regular inspections to identify and address deficiencies promptly. Maintain detailed daily reports documenting progress, material deliveries, weather conditions, and any issues requiring management attention.
Ensure proper installation of temporary works, formwork, and reinforcement according to engineering requirements. Verify material compliance with specifications and coordinate material testing procedures with quality assurance personnel. Review and approve minor construction methodology adjustments within delegated authority limits.

Safety and Compliance ManagementEnforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections and toolbox talks with site personnel. Monitor compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company safety standards. Investigate minor incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective measures.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and maintain safe working conditions around excavations, crane operations, and concrete pours. Coordinate with safety officers on hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies specific to highrise construction activities.

Coordination and CommunicationServe as primary liaison between site operations and project management team, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and resource requirements. Coordinate with other discipline supervisors including MEP, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated construction sequencing.
Facilitate effective communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Attend daily coordination meetings and contribute to weekly progress reporting. Escalate significant issues or delays to Senior Site Supervisor with recommended solutions.

Resource Management and PlanningAssist in short-term planning and scheduling of civil construction activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity. Monitor labor productivity and equipment utilization, identifying opportunities for improvement. Coordinate material deliveries and storage to support construction sequences while maintaining site organization.
Support workforce planning by tracking labor requirements and identifying skill gaps or training needs among site personnel. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

Documentation and Record KeepingMaintain comprehensive construction records including daily logs, inspection reports, material certificates, and correspondence. Photograph construction progress and quality issues for documentation purposes. Ensure accurate as-built documentation reflecting actual construction conditions.
Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities and maintain compliance documentation. Support project closeout activities by organizing and transferring construction records to project management team.

Required Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 2-4 years of construction site experience. Previous exposure to highrise or multi-story construction projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work effectively in multicultural team environments. Basic computer skills including familiarity with project management software and mobile construction applications.

Reporting StructureReports directly to Senior Site Supervisor with regular interaction with Project Manager, Quality Manager, and Safety Manager. Provides direction to assigned site personnel, subcontractor foremen, and temporary staff as required. Collaborates closely with other discipline supervisors and support functions including procurement, logistics, and administration teams.
This role offers significant growth potential within JLL's construction management division, providing hands-on experience in large-scale urban development projects and exposure to industry best practices in project delivery and client service.
