A) Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive legal support and guidance to EDOTCO Pakistan, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and mitigating risks associated with transactions, contracts, property management, and financial arrangements. The role involves conducting legal due diligence, managing contracts, advising on regulatory matters, and resolving disputes to safeguard the company's interests while supporting key functions such as Finance, Procurement, SPM, and Property Management. Additionally, the position supports the Head of Legal in executing legal strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
B) Key Accountabilities:
General

Handling Legal Due Diligence process for all major transactions to ensure any risks associated with the proposed transaction are highlighted to the management.

Drafting, reviewing and finalization of contracts/agreements including Master Framework Agreement, Local Framework Agreement, procurement & non-procurement Agreements, Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, addenda, revisions, renewal, term extension etc; pertaining to Finance, Procurement and SPM.

Ensure that all relevant policies and operations of the company are in compliance with all laws including Companies Laws, Telecom Laws and Labor laws.

Give accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)

Assistance to Pk EDOTCO Head of Legal on assigned tasks.
Focus

Assistance to Finance team on banking related matters.

Review of Letter of Credits (LC) including all ancillary documentation and correspondence.

Review, finalization and execution of financing arrangement such as conventional financing, Islamic financing, STFA, syndicate facilities, bridge facility etc.

Advise on the interpretation of the documents and registration of the same with SECP.

Provide assistance to Property Management Function in finalization of the domains by providing legal advice to ensure mitigating any risks associated with the properties leased by the Company for the constructions of the Towers. For the Purpose engage with landlords/authorities whenever the need for it arises.

Review/evaluation of claims, preparation of replies and assistance to internal stakeholders to manage any disputes with landlords.

D) Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:
Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a recognized institution.
Experience

5-7 years of relevant experience in corporate legal advisory, contract management, and compliance.
