UK Conveyancing Lawyer

About the Role:

We are seeking a UK Conveyancing Lawyer based in Pakistan to support our UK clients in managing property transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UK property law and conveyancing processes, with prior experience working with UK-based solicitors, law firms, or property companies.

You will be responsible for assisting in the purchase, sale, and transfer of residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all transactions comply with UK legal standards and Land Registry requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support end-to-end UK conveyancing transactions (residential and commercial).
  • Draft, review, and assist in preparing property-related legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
  • Conduct property searches, title checks, and ensure due diligence in line with UK regulations.
  • Liaise remotely with UK solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and clients.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for HM Land Registry and HMRC (Stamp Duty) filings.
  • Ensure compliance with UK property law, CML Handbook, and SRA guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed records, case files, and ensure timely completion of all property transactions.

Requirements:

  • Law graduate (LLB or LLM) with 2–5 years of relevant experience in UK conveyancing.
  • Strong understanding of UK property law, Land Registry, and HMRC procedures.
  • Prior experience working with UK-based law firms or conveyancing practices (required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in case management systems (e.g., LEAP, Clio, Proclaim) and MS Office tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 11 months

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Islamabad: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
