Contracts Specialist (Civil Engineer)

Company: A US based construction management company, having back-office in Pakistan (Rawalpindi)

Position: Contracts Specialist

Required Education: BSC Civil Engineer (Must Have Qualification)

Required Experience: 3-4 years of relevant solid experience.

Required Skills: This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. construction practices, codes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase agreements, and change orders.
• Coordinate with project managers and executives on contractual obligations, risk, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including amendments, extensions, renewals, and close-outs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including labor, insurance, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve disputes, claims, and litigation.
• Maintain organized records of executed contracts and related documentation.
• Train project staff on contract procedures, templates, and best practices.
• Participate in RFP responses, reviewing commercial terms and proposing contract language.
